Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This is the place to really eat proper Italian food. We were 2 people that walked in at 15:30. The server was super nice, but wasn’t hovering like in all the other places. The food was so good and tasted fresh. We were the only non Italians in the place which says a lot. There were 2 tables that it was clear they were regulars. Great food, great atmosphere"
"Super great service and delicious food! Staff is very friendly for both tourists and locals. The food is absolutely amazing, my favourites were the spicy salami pizza and the seafood pasta! The tiramisu was also fantastic as well as the mixed gelato. Being a Spanish speaker I was able to stumble my way through ordering and the servers loved it which heightened my experience. Can’t wait to go back!"
"Absolutely fantastic. Great food, great service. Ate there all three days we were in Rome. The Seafood pasta's flavor was unmatched, best thing on the menu we tried. The carbonara was good, but VERY rich, Risotto with shrimp was delicious as well. Very friendly, you should totally dine here!"
"So, on Day 1 of our visit, this is the Best pasta I have ever had. We all got different pasta meals and tried each other! It is so hard to pick which one is the best? The appetizer, calamari, is the Best that we had and wanted to order another one. Then the icing on the cake, Homemade Tiramisu! We would diffently be back and let others know that you need to come if you are in Roma. The service is excellent and well organized. Even as people over whelm this place."
"I I ate the most delicious lasagna of my life here! You eat and cry! Great. My friend's pizza was amazing too The tiramisu was also great. Only Italians work inside, and the rest of the customers were also only locals. This is a sign of the high quality of the food. Thank you! I will dream about this lasagna for a long time!"
"A delicious meal sitting under the canopy outside. We loved the pumpkin blossom stuffed with mozzarella anchovies and fried. Lasagna was delightful with small sausage throughout, fresh made pasta. Fettuchi in a light sauce with Parmesan and bacon was a delightful combination of flavors. We matched these with red wine and finished it off with Tiramisu which was full flavor, light and creamy."
"On a hot Roma day, they welcomed us into their family with smiles and open arms. They brought out a bowl of ice for our water: a very nice touch! My wife had Lasagna, I started with Spaghetti and Meatballs and washed it down with a red beer. That was followed with a plate of beef and lamb chops with potatoes, eggplant, zucchini, and red peppers for a specialized plate they wanted to name after me (Buckley), but really meat is an Oregon thing, so "Oregon" it shall be. Finally, my wife closed the meal with a creme brulee. As we readied to leave, one of the workers said with a smile and gentle wave, "See you tomorrow!" I love these people!"
"⭐ A true local gem! They really deserve their great Google rating! The food is warm, comforting, and made with fresh seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere feels authentically Italian, simple and genuine. We tried the lasagna and the amatriciana, but the highlight was definitely a vegetarian dish with seasonal peas and mushrooms…everything was delicious and very fairly priced! Service was only in Italian, which made communication a bit tricky (our waiter didn’t seem too interested in helping), so if you don’t speak Italian, you’ll need to figure things out on your own. Still, it didn’t spoil the great experience at all."
